Guide To Teaching and Learning

Student Leadership, Involvement, and Transition Programs (SLI)

SLI supports The New School’s educational mission by creating opportunities for students to have rewarding interactions and make connections outside of the classroom. We encourage students to become active members of the university community by joining or starting a student organization, signing up for a recreation activity, or participating in events and programs run by the Student Activities Board. We offer many opportunities for students to get involved on campus and develop their leadership potential. To learn more, visit NarwhalNation.

We also support students along the way with transitional programming and milestone celebrations like Orientation and Welcome programs.

We are always excited to collaborate with others and welcome new ideas. Please reach out to us and set up time to chat.
