Student Equity, Accessibility & Title IX (SEAT)

Student Equity, Accessibility & Title IX (SEAT) conducts investigations and manages complaints of discrimination involving students through informal conflict resolution and formal investigation. SEAT meets with key people during the investigative process to provide supportive measures to all parties. SEAT is dedicated to facilitating comprehensive Title IX training, education, and awareness. SEAT provides, in addition to facilitated Title IX instruction, the online sexual assault educational module which is mandatory under NY State Education Law, Article 129-B. SEAT also collaborates with various offices to provide educational programming and events during Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM).
